Over the weekend, I’ve scanned and shredded old papers. My goal is to reduce the “paper monster” from two plastic bins. My next goal is to throw away any small trinkets in the drawers and closets.
The bigger items, such as unused and useless electronic gadgets, need to be recycled. I just need to find a place for these instead of throwing away directly into our normal garbage and/or recycling bins.
I hope to reduce the number of clothes, jackets, and coats too. The old shoes of small sizes and tight clothes have been sent via Balikbayan boxes to Yesha and family. It should arrive in the Port of Manila on March 12, 2011.
There are lots of big plastic bags, unused pillows, blankets and other linen that needs to go away. I don’t know how a family of three accumulated these sort of formerlly treasured junk. The parakeets have more toys they don’t use, too.
