Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us TRAVELS.
I’ve answered a similar “prompt” long ago. It was about getting sick for two weeks in the Philippines – twice back in 1978 and 1996.
But in this version, I’ve went to “heaven” and “hell”. Among the clouds, I stood. Among the flames, I walked. I sensed nothing but observed others and myself from afar like an “artificial intelligence”. I felt happy and curious most of the time. I do NOT recall being lost/stolen/forgotten.
This is the farthest I’ve traveled. But from home, I was NOT aware. I was existing in the presence of the observation, of which I saw colors, shapes, and size; felt hugs and sensations of touching; heard conversation from within my mind mostly. I do not recall sensations of taste or smell.
