My elderly father is visiting his eldest sister who earlier complained and hinted that she kept trying to call our landline which has been converted to cellular since September if this year.
I showed my dad the history call log off his dumb flip phone and none shows Area Code 510 for Hayward, California.
His dumb flip phone does NOT have the spam blocker; so it’s up to the callers to leave a regular voicemail message.
But I added the main phone number of the residential one-story nursing home, which starting December 2022 the remaining for elderly siblings will contribute towards her stay which increased due to her NOT qualifying for MediCal benefits.
20221115-1327. Now my dad said his landline now cellular number is unavailable. Bullcrap. She probably misdialed and the two siblings have no idea how to handle their own problems.
I’m NOT dealing with THEM. If THEY don’t know what they’re doing, then don’t use it. There’s probably a reason why it’s not working so she won’t bother us.
20221115-1334. So dad got the phone and dialed his landline dumb flip phone number and my cellular smartphone number and both are NOT going through because the care home probably won’t allow her to dial long-distance.
Good! That’s expensive and less bothersome for us.
