Dear diary,
Yesterday we were caught in the rain and made our way to THD, where we encountered an old Asian guy who shared with us how billionaires make money with a n uptick of a few cents in stocks. He’s an insistent little creep. We bought two light bulbs worth over $14 each.
We went home and installed our very first purchase of LED bulbs by Ecosystems today. And we liked it so much, Mom insisted that Dad and I shop for two more bulbs for her sewing room. But instead of non-flammable 100 watts, we got 60 watts. These are dimmable because of our electric switch being a dimmer. Duh!
Several brand sells 60 watts at around 400, 500, and 800 lumens, meaning brightness. The 100 watt Ecosystem LED bulb emits over 1,300 lumens. We got the Daylight, which is cooler or whitish. There are other yellowish varieties such as Bright White and Soft White.
So one 100 watt bulb is good for one room. We now have three in our living room and one in our master bedroom downstairs. So with our two 800 lumens bulbs at 60 watts, it’s freaking bright in this small eightish by twelvish room.
I don’t like it. I’m used to the incandescent light bulbs. The creepy Asian guy Tommy said LED light bulbs have no mercury and is less polluting to our children and planet. Yeah, right.
Sincerely,
FLYNN
