20160614-1719-Aside

Mom has completed her shower, Dad is taking a nap, the two Lutino parakeets are screaming, and I’m waiting for the sync to my archives online to finish. Mom and I are watching the LIVE AMA with Alex Jones on YouTube. I don’t have a Twitter or Facebook account, by the way.

Anyway, yesterday, Dad accompanied me to my dental appointment for 1400. I checked-in and filled-out and signed a couple of paperwork. At 1350, I was pulled from the waiting room within minutes and into the dental chair. I waited many freaking minutes to have eighteen (18) images with about a handful of retakes. I wonder if I glowed.

I might have taken a nap. And until 1352, I awoke and got pissed! I didn’t want Dad to wait THAT long for me to complete the dental appointment. After another ten minutes or so of waiting, the Asian dentist finally did her EVAL, or evaluation.

She is REALLY good and explained to me that this is NOT a private office and that it is typical to wait at least one hour for public works, err, servicing. This is the price for free-stuff – the inconvenience.

She explained that the procedures are standard. And that sounded good and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. But what surprised me was her thoroughness. She went through the 18 images and discussed her findings: bone lose, VERY short root, and a single bone resorption, which can’t really be stopped. Sigh.

She further poked and prodded my gum with one tool. This one hurted but I kept still. The second tool was similar but not painful. In between the two EVAL of gum health, she poked and scraped the biting surface of my teeth.

I heard that there were cavities to be watched. She will repair my old fillings. One molar has a starbust hairline crack. There may be another hairline crack. She suggested that a bonding may be an option.

She also talked freely about three health insurances, as did Elena S, the dental assistant; about her glasses which her male Nike’s brand; and her ancestry with the last name of her father’s side being the same as with her paternal mother’s side. There was PCP with HER last name. That PCP has been assigned to me and I will see that PCP next month.

She appears to be Vietnamese based on her VERY smooth skin, and strangely deep-set eyes with strangely thick brow bones. She kept flicking her reptilian tongue, which was really humanized in shape. So that would explain her high intelligence.

At 20160608-0930 and 20160610-0900, I saw a VERY pleasant eye doctor. She was skinny. I liked her as I did the Hispanic assistants. The first visit was weird because the Optometry Clinci was REALLY small!.

I checked-in early and filled and signed a couple of paperwork while standing up at a half-door! The display for women’s frames was one small wall behind the air-puff equipment. The small display of men’s frames was adjacent to the women’s  display!

So after getting my eyes dilated and while waiting for the eye doctor to check my retinas, I browsed these dirty-ass frames! Of course, I couldn’t find any. Later, she suggested to me and scheduled a second appointment for the peripheral vision test and retinal photo.

I tried to get my eye prescription filled at Costco. But I couldn’t find a frame the size of men but with the designs of women. I was dismayed here because, while the costs was inexpensive, the compromise was the lack of personalized service of private offices.

Dad accompanied me twice to these eye appointments and waited patiently. He complained that there were no magazines! So we brought an old Enquirer magazine. But that’s not good. Once again, the location is NOT the same private practices.

It’ 20160614-1752 and I’m still watching The Alex Jones Channel. Was he being sarcastic about the hypothetical assumption that he’s a CIA? Anyway, I’m still waiting for the online sync to complete. At this time the channel is frozen. Bahaha!

So while ObamaCare has improved the transpareny of the health care industry, the service is good. This is the first times that I used my Medi-Cal. The staff and doctors were nice. The location was clean because Dad said the bathrooms were clean. Why? It’s because the doors are locked! Keys are provided for patients. Bahaha!

I give the services thus far an eight on a scale of ten. If there were magazines, less waiting time, I’d give them a nine. If there were no kids and noises, I’d give them, meaning the AHA, a ten. Thank y’all.
