We’re being held hostage again by slow service at this shoe store, which is behind Westgate Mall in San Jose, CA.
We arrived 15 minutes early. There are three other trolls, who are being serviced. One looks like Augusta, a choir member. But Das said it’s not her.
Our appointment is 1730 pm. It’s already 1735 pm. Finally, Chris, one of the dough boy owner of this place, is servicing Dad, who was yawning.
This is the last time we’re going to shop here. I may just order online and stick my orthotics myself, instead of waiting for them to mess up our orders, which they did to my parents and me.
This shoe clinic wants to collect from the likes of Medicare. I guess since we paid cash, we don’t get expedited service like the rest.
Hopefully Dad’s feet will feel better. He can wiggle his toes inside his new Dr. Comfort shoes. Both looks similar, but one is casual sneaker; while the other is a smoother dressy shoe.
It’s 1741 pm and Chris is still in the backroom holding Dad’s shoes hostage, err, working on trimming the new orthotics inserts for his shoes. Dad can remove the orthotics and use it for both shoes.
Currently, Dad is wearing the sneaker version, while Chris is working on the dressy shoe. Chris is taking too long! But butt hurts and Dad is sleepy. Jay is quietly standing near the cash register.
They got Michael Jackson music playing over the stereo. At 1824, we’re home, finally!
