To Obama and pals:
Forgive my delayed response. I’ve been busy with daily life. Yesterday was my last day at that temp job from hell. We are guided by the hands of Providence, since Mom will undergo her long-awaited, outpatient surgery next Tuesday. So, I’ll be busy taking care of her for awhile and have a few minutes now to blog.
With regards to Obama care, I guess it’s working for some qualified people. As mentioned in my old/current blogs, sharing medical records would expedite processing of patient care/treatment across the states, especially during emergency.
With regards to Medicare, the system has been working to protect patients, like Mom. A few days ago, she received a copy of an appeal notice. Medicare deemed that the provider/supplier of her blood glucose test strips are responsible for payment. The beneficiary can help fight the appeal.
*Based on past experiences in my temp jobs from hell, private companies survive and make profit by over-charging andover-invoicing customers and the BIG government. As expressed in my recent blog entry, it’s almost next to impossible to fight back/against the BIG government.
For whatever reason, we think that Mom’s private insurance, which is state funded by the way, wants the federal government to take over medical coverages. I don’t know if I worded my thoughts on this paragraph correctly.
Anyway, the first appeal from Medicare went to the beneficiary’s favor. That was the time a hospital admitted Mom. And this second appeal was also weird.
I guess to avoid troubling the provider/supplier/Medicare, maybe we should pay cash for her blood glucose test strip supplies. We will inquire later on what is the best method for everyone.
But my parents emphasized during the drive earlier to this doctor appointment – that I should take care of myself first.
Somehow, that concept still didn’t sink into my small mind. I must have worked in “reverse” and considered others first and before thinking about my needs/wants.
Mom’s concern is the status of both her children when they no money work and if the monthly income is sufficient to keep a roof over their heads.
I guess that’s why I requested health care insurance from TPTB and pals and got a raw deal of precious knowledge that I don’t know what to do with – instead of getting my cash repaid.
And based on yesterday’s event blog entry, I’ve learned that BIG government will get bigger and there’s nothing to stop this globalist trend until all countries submit unto a totalitarian regime or when/if the Lawd Gawd “steps-in” to “fix it”.
In summary, although on the surface there is much deception, everything is going according to plan and in a good way. End thoughts, meaning I’m stuck here and probably forgot what important detail that I wanted to add but couldn’t because of the distractions of family life.
With lots of hisses,
Evil Kitty
