Before Sunday mass last week, Elder Marcel said that the priest could have turned on the lights during the readings and I told her that I would have preferred the lights turned on. At least, I had the glowing light from my NOOK device.
So yesterday during the morning/Saturday mass, I thought the priest had the lights turned off to “enhance” the Easter octave festivities. It turned out that the car accident knocked out the power.
En route to that evening mass, we saw two large blue PG&E trucks repairing the electrical wires overhead. I was wishing those wires would go away and allow the treetops to expand to their full beauty.
But today, they painted the repaired wire yellow.
