To the Boss;
Besides classic/hard rock music, I happen to love country music, too. Currently, Maw and I are watching “Classic Country” on Music Choice via AT&T.
Earlier, I was imagining that Conway Twitty was singing about moi: “Linda On My Mind” 25 Number Ones (1975). Now we are listening to Kenny Rogers “Lucille” 42 Ultimate Hits (1977).
Usually, I try to sing harmony along with the melody. I really do NOT know the lyrics because of my bad hearing and bad memory and just make up the words and try my best to sing along.
Most of these country music originated/sound gospel anyway. So it’s appropriate and more spiritually uplifting to listen to these sort of music, considering that I’m part of our local church’s main choir.
Recently, my next music goal is how to play the harmony/secondo/left hand with only the melody/primo/right hand printed, such as the Music Issue. If you can do it, I most certainly will challenge myself, too! Phooey!
Oh, could you please tell your damn “substitute” NOT to play directly off the Keyboard Accompaniment and try using the “guitar chord” to plug in the harmony with his left hand? WTF?
During my short duration as accompanist, I had to learn REALLY fast how to plug the guitar chord when the keyboard accompaniment got too complex for my short fingers/slow brain/tired hands.
