To the Boss:
The five of us did VERY well tonight. Your “twin’s name” came out of his car, just as I rolled into the parish parking lot, upon which I saw the flutist emerge from his car with his little girl.
Surprisingly, your “substitute” came on time. Then I called an early exit about five to eight minutes before eight o’ clock, with just enough time left for the flutist to turn off the lights and lock up the place.
I joked to him that he’s [“excused”] by five minutes because he went over by that same time during out first practice. As per my text message to both you and your Mom, I’m “watching over y’all” with my one eyeball!
I had to hold our side door open and made sure he had the keys (in his pocket) before locking it up. I get anal if we end up locking up stuff we might have forgotten in the parish.
I kept repeating for us stay together because I didn’t want to walk alone, even though there were lots of cars parked. I get creeped out at night! I kept close to the little kids who walked ahead of the three guys. Pampanga style!
It’s good to practice together because I still get lost in the music. We went over all the songs twice in one hour. The flutist had his audio recorder turned on and probably as “proof” we attended. But it’s so empty without the rest of the singers.
As far as I know recently through one of your kinds, this group NEVER practiced because of family priorities/whatever. So I’m wondering why I bother attending choir rehearsal. As an outsider, I’m still out of the loop.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to “lead”. But I’m just a temporary plug. Speaking of which I need to clear my oily/dry skin of white/blackheads!
Huh,
Flynn…
