The clouds of white seems to be in the shapes of whales and and UFOs. The air is still cold and the winds blow colder still.
At around 2:41pm or so, the rain drops seemed to have fallen a little bit. The smell of chemicals was in the air. We had finished eating lunch and didn’t have much time before the rain started.
Maw had suggested that I help her harvest more chayote squash. But she needed my flexability to get underneath the mess of vines that held her precious veggie. There were two sections underneath and we harvested around nine BIG chayote squash! That’s expensive in the market sometimes $2.00!
One BIG one will be given to Melody, a elderly Chinese lady, who lives with her husband behind our shared fence. That will hopefully be used to plant in her thriving backyard. They are a nice couple who share some veggies and fruits from their gardens (sometimes in the past).
