Well, here I am back at work and digesting a Bento Box ($8.95) of miso soup, scoop of white rice, lettuce with ginger dressing, LOTS of tempura chicken, vegetable tempura of carrots, cucumber, brocolli and half an orange. Almost 20 or so of us ate at the Sushi Factory up in Milpitas, CA celebrate a staff’s birthday and that’s $277.43.
Because I MUST be in control, I offered to drive the temp guy, who smelled. We had to keep cracking the window open. We made a left on Montague in error and I scolded the guy for being such a horrible navigator. I almost got into a few fender benders en route to a parking in front of 99 Ranch Market.
He used to work here ten years ago in the finance department. It’s his karma for coming back, just like me being stuck a prime location – a SLAMMING back door and a temp job from hell that pays minimum wage – not enough to feed five mouths!
In recent karmic news, I just read about unemployment of two people and how one boy got swindled out of his pay. Those boys need help (AGAIN). I guess God must truly hate us all to allow some “good folks” to go hungry and homeless. It’s none of my business and since I’m forced to realize this truth, I’m finished. I have nothing left but my hatred of you, Pete.
What a way to end another fruitless year prior to my birth anniversary.
