Well, this time I’m trying the newest WordPress.com theme:
Andrea by Lucian E. Marin
A gorgeously minimal two-column theme with a flexible layout and an unusual blue color scheme.
PROs:
- Blog description (or tagline) to the right of blog title.
- Top navigation bar (without drop-down menus).
- Left sidebar (default).
- Two `Andrea Theme Options`:
- Flexible-width Layout — Wide, flexible-width layout. Site width is fluid between a minimum width of 900px and maximum width of 1200px. Images in the main column have a maximum width of 1000px.
- Fixed-width Layout — Narrow, fixed-width layout. Site width is 700px and the main column width is 500px. Images in the main column have a maximum width of 500px.
- Custom header images of exactlly 1190 x 250 pixels, with optional header text.
- Custom background images, with display options (positions, repeats, attachments, color). Here is a sample of the background from WallpaperStock.net:

CONs:
- No time stamp! I want time stamps! I love time stamps! Waahh!
