If y’all will notice my current WordPress.com theme (Dusk by Beccary) has taken on a darker color scheme – an ode to blackness and all that is hidden – and all because of a `rare sight`: a dark-gray to black-colored crane against fluffy, puffy clouds of gray.
There were three minor tweaks done via my paid CSS upgrades. Because the content element is too close to sidebar element and in order to distinguish the two columns apart from each other, the sidebar has a lighter color.
The footer element has a lighter gray background. But because it is proper netiquette to give credit to the web designer, I’ve made the `text element` one shade lighter, just barely enough to read but enough to show face. I’m mean.
The third tweak was for the gradient background. The height was 1064 but because some screen resolutions are higher, I had to re-create another gradient background to accommodate the ones with a height of 1280 pixels
