  1. The Earth is our Mother; care for Her.
  2. Honor all your relations.
  3. Open your hearth and soul to the Great Spirit.
  4. All life is sacred; treat all beings with respect.
  5. Take from the Earth what is needed and nothing more.
  6. Do what needs to be done for the good of all.
  7. Give constant thanks to the Great Spirit for each new day.
  8. Speak the truth; but only of the good in others.
  9. Follow the rhythm of nature; rise and retire with the sun.
  10. Enjoy life’s journey, but leave no tracks.

Cherokee Prayer Blessing

May the warm winds of heaven
blow softly upon your house.

May the Great Spirit
bless all who enter there.

May your moccasins
make happy tracks
in many snows, and

May the rainbow
always touch your shoulder.
