It’s all about free-will. It’s all about responsibility. There is no right or wrong but love and life. Not everyone will be helped. Not one person could possibly make everyone happy. Watchers will be listening to the presidential and vice-presidential debates. They will probably laugh out loud, too. I outlined my opinions based on twenty items listed on Campaign Issues via the CNN.com website.
Abortions: I do not believe in abortions because this is simply genocide. When newborns survive outside the womb of the mothers and are not given a second chance in life in life, this is murder. The ‘old souls’ do not approve in abortions. Those who cannot afford to make and keep the brats should put them up for adoption. There are lots of loving family units who would love to adopt. But strict regulation is needed to make sure these homeless ones don’t get abused by the new families. The choice of life and death is in the hands of women. The protection by honorable men is lost.
Afghanistan: I believe that the U.S. troops will be in Afghanistan for quite awhile. I suppose these alleged terrorists need to be spanked.
Cuba: I believe Cuba could be invited to become the next United State. It’s just 90 miles from Florida and travelling ventures could be more profitable with Cuba. It’s like a Latino version of Hawaii. Of course, that would mean keeping the embargo until the Cuban government improves. If they continue to resist, there is always the nuke. There is no need to tolerate bad behavior. Until whatever conditions are met, there is no need to meet with the Cubans.
Economic stimulus: I believe in socialism, if not border-line communism. It’s because the greed of men in a capitalist economy definitely taxes (pun intended) and takes from both the rich and poor and not surprisingly doesn’t give back to the poor. Why? It’s because they are the same people who whine and complain about not having any cash to spend. They are the ones who abuse the system in the ‘land of the free’. I know: They only care for themselves. They take advantage of any social benefits.
Education: I believe education, both private and public, is a scam. There are truly slower and dumb children who will be left behind as the strongest members of the herd move on to be successful. This is nature. I wanted more field trips to learn more about nature. I wanted more hands-on life experiences to the working world. I didn’t get either. Instead I sat in classrooms, enclosed in a prison-like cell with bright, fluorescent bulbs overhead and other strangers that didn’t care to study hard for higher education, which is supposedly allows a person to climb the ladder of success in a white, stiff-collared environment. I would have thrived better at home education where there are three meals a day and access to toilet anytime. Perhaps, merit-based system for teachers would help.
Energy: I believe that solar power is free energy and renewable. There is no change when the greedy people want to make profit off of gold and of course, petroleum fuel, like oil and gas. Both are crude and old. Drilling for oil from Native land would help to ‘pay back’ China. Then again the profit should go back to the people of the land. And where is my anti-gravity, hover craft or high speed bullet train? I don’t think going nuclear would help because the clean up is messy and the potential for atmospheric pollution and radiation poisoning is present. Rebates for energy-saving appliances and incentives for small (children) businesses from their older (parental) businesses would help.
Environment: I believe that global warming is a scam. The temperature in my area feels cooler due to ‘climate changes’. This is natural. The data shows consistent temperatures worldwide, neither warmer nor colder! Iridescent bulbs are fine and I didn’t know that the new compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), also known as a compact fluorescent light bulb (or less commonly as a compact fluorescent tube [CFT] contain more mercury. Strict regulations are necessary to avoid businesses from abusing nature and polluting the environment.
Free trade: I believe globalization is good. I like the combination of German engineering, American steel and Japanese designs all rolled into a vehicle manufactured by robots. It was foolish to save the giant automakers like Chrysler and General Motors. It is equally foolish not to retool the sites and cross-train the old timers into learning new skills and computers, too. Those companies sold ugly and horrible cars and the consumers didn’t buy into the market. I actually wear clothes made in Mexico, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sudan, etc. These clothes are well made too. NAFTA and the Amero would compete well with the overseas market.
Guns: I believe in the right to bear and keep arms as per the Constitution. People need to be able to defend themselves and property from predators and intruders. By the time the cops arrive, those with fire arms may still be alive. But unfortunately, there are the criminally insane, who go on shooting sprees and hurt other people and then ultimately themselves. So a background checks is always necessary. Tasers and assault rifles should be left to the military because too many people have gotten injured and died in the hands of police from these types of weapons.
Health care: I believe health care insurance is a scam like life insurance, which are sold to the sick, old and those fearful of dying a natural death. People shouldn’t be required to waste money on monthly payments just to keep the insurance. There should be an inexpensive pay per visit option. Anyone (including illegal immigrants) deserves fast treatment in case of emergency with a ‘national card’ at any hospital nationwide. People shouldn’t have to pay for medications (of mostly unpronounceable ingredients) and accept whatever treatment is available without sufficient, long term studies to prove the safety of any medical technology. Reform is needed to correct bills that get messed up when the codes from the doctor’s orders are incorrect. Sometimes people (especially the elders) don’t understand how to follow up with these unpaid Medicare bills, for example, and end up being reported to the credit agency and paying hundred of dollars.
Homeland security: I believe terror exists, not from the outside, but on our own soils and by the hands of certain nefarious agencies. (Y’all know who you are otherwise y’all won’t read this far into my personal weblog site.) We are afraid of ourselves, of being Good Samaritans and all because of fearing the lawsuits. We are our own enemies by creating enemies outside ourselves. Y’all can create and pass all the acts to protect yourselves from us handlers of broomsticks but your actions of bullying us taxpaying, American citizens into silences for fear of surveillance (or whistleblowing for that matter) speak louder than our small voice for help. If y’all can create chaos out of nothing and divisiveness among men, y’all fix your mess. You hear? Good.
Housing: I don’t believe housing will ever be affordable no matter how the laws are modified. If consumers cannot afford to pay their monthly mortgage, the companies should not be loaning them money. ‘Mort’ from mortgage means death. So this means people will continue to pay for something they could never truly ‘own’ until they die. When one digs a hole in the ground, someone else is expected to fill in that hole. For example, ‘Mal-Low’ took out her 401K and the equity on her house just to throw big parties for her children. Now she is running around to find help from her ‘friends’. This is truly an irresponsible and egoist person. She will pay. I expect able-bodied people to work so they could live and stay at home. There is no free lunch. The truly disabled and the elderly, however, are the exceptions and need living assistance, if they depend on noone.
Immigration: I believe immigrants help unify the United States. I don’t care who came here first. I believe improving border security technology will be needed to keep the drug lords from harming and recruiting our children. All I know is that if there are immigrants who are free-loading, they must leave. Those who are criminally insane must go back to their ‘country of origin’ and never return. Any crimes done on the soils under the maritime laws of the United States will be dealt with swiftly. There is no immunity either. Those immigrants who are illegal and have nowhere left to go will have to work hard like the rest of us. Inviting the educated ones from government sponsored programs to work in the United States worked for my family.
Iran: I believe that Iran will stop their nuclear enrichment program if the United States stops too. It’s only fair. But then again, I do not like how the president of Iran is using the threat of nuclear exchange by whatever means necessary. An ‘old soul’ suggested that nuking stubborn countries may be a solution. It’s a catch 22, here.
Iraq: I believe that the U.S. troops will be in Iraq for quite awhile. I hate when these politicians do not give the people straight answers and instead give us no timetable. Trust me: I hate them for keeping us in the dark. Once again, if diplomatic efforts are unsuccessful, nuking may be a solution. Again, it’s a catch 22.
Israel: I believe Israel must share their lands with the Palestinians. There is no need to be selfish. There is no need for more bloodshed. These two states are not supposed to end up like ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
LGBT issues: I believe that all LGBT are beautiful, colorful and quite creative. Without them, our world would be dull and boring. But I detest their violence when they break-up with each other. I detest how they are not faithful to their life partners. There is a difference between loving and using each other. What they do behind closed doors is their business. They deserve the right to be recognized by the states through civil union in order to benefit from the entitlements in ‘normal’ marriages. However, I strongly disagree with the indoctrination of very young children to their lifestyles and the ultimate destruction of family units raised by a male father and a female mother. I especially don’t appreciate feminist denying their beauty and ability to pick up where their mothers and grandmother’s left off.
Social Security: I believe paying for the security of older people with the money from the backs of younger, more able-bodied people is socially good. However, I don’t like the idea that not everyone will be entitled to Social Security, of course, because some didn’t put ‘enough’ into this social fund from their paychecks. Privatization of Social Security means people would be able to gamble this ‘money’ away in the stock market, for example, because they know what is best and not the government. Upfront cash is good to spend right away on expenses, like credit card debts used as ‘personal loans’ as a form of investment, for example. Investing involves risk not ‘security’. Capitalism sounds good. Social Security sounds like socialism.
Stem cell research: I believe that life begins at conception. Instead of forming life between two cells on a Petri dish, bringing another life into the world through a womb is a miracle. Anyway, science and technology has brought our civilization beyond spears and loincloths. I feel that an embryo could be created into anything – from fish to humans. And anything beautiful (or monstrous, like clones) could be created from stem cells.
Taxes: I hate taxes. It’s illegal. People get jailed because they believe in letters of opinions and the sovereign rights of refusal in this scam.
