This morning my bio-units and I celebrated Father Boo’s birthday at Denny’s with three other people: Poi, Fred and Rose. I am sick and tired of hanging around with these religious zealots and eating fatty food. I am out of my place with these old timers and they are not my peers. I cannot get out of this mess and will end up being thrown into another religious box by any future in-laws. I’ll be damned if they are Mormons or Masons!
There has to be a way to avoid going to their functions too. Last night was a Passover dinner and now there are two other functions for the local church goers: April 19, 2008 ($40.00) with the Fil-Am Associations and May 4, 2008 ($50.00) for Father Perata’s 50th Anniversary Jubilee as a priest. I am sick of this sh*t! It’s beyond my belief system and I don’t like dressing up in polyester or stiff clothing!
I don’t like hanging around with people, period. I’m always the odd ball without a partner. And I don’t understand why my bio-units cannot do their own things without me tagging along, on the premise that I’ve nothing else to do. I’ve nothing else to do with old people, strangers and Filipinos, where ‘Paw’ said I could meet my husband. This is utter bullsh*t!
I will blame primarily Pete and his dark-skinned cahoots for letting the rest and me down for the freaking, last time! I will blame the slave, working system for sticking me with other losers. I will blame my family and relatives for showing me how plastic they are to each other. I will blame the whole world and anything else that doesn’t make sense to me. I will blame everyone else except me, myself and I.
I am hypercritical and a hypocrite about religion. The only reason I attend morning mass is because I am unemployed and still live with my parents. Without these two factors, I wouldn’t have anything to do with Catholics or the likes of celebrating the death of some revolutionist with ritualistic imagery of ‘blood’. I am not putting up with these social functions. I am sick of being stuck with these outdated boogers!
