“I worry about you when I am no longer here”. ~said Maw through her CPAP machine. Don’t worry Maw: the GOVERNMENT and PALS are supposed to take care of me…
Well, I just tucked Maw in for the night. I feel OBLIGED to make sure the old timers are okay while I’m still alive. In effect, I am hoping they will transition over nicely from this hellish planet. For whatever reason, they are being attacked for following a righteous (or correct) path.
It so happened the boy visited us unexpectedly today (as per his phone conversation last night). Without fail, he triggered people with deep sentiments about his lifestyle and behavior. I feel sorry for the girl. Ironically, she feels sorry for me — based on similar expectations that I should move out and on with my life.
Some people don’t understand why I live with my parents. It is my choice. They feel I’m being controlled like a robot (per the boy). Some call me freeloader or parasite and even an unemployed, childless single woman. Am I fearful to buy a house and work to death for something that won’t be filled with children? Yes.
While I did have the basics in life planned out — graduate high school and college and work the normal day jobs, I’ve learned that people (especially my ungrateful relatives via Facebook) have accused us of being wrong or bad:
- I wonder why Marianne told me that Kathy is living in a big house without love.
- I wonder why Shill told me she has nothing to do with Jerrylynne.
- I wonder why Angie will call the cops on us if we attempted to visit Maw’s dying brother in the hospital.
- I wonder why Bella told us her husband is insane
- I wonder why the boy doesn’t tell the truth about his problems at home and at work.
- I wonder why we have to hide the fact that we have done nothing wrong but refuse to play along with their insanity.
I am not worried if people hate us or think we are sub-standard in their eyes.
I am not worried if we die penniless or are forgotten.
I am only worried if these elderly couple will find peace.
