20250103-1322. Welp, I’ve done it again and tweaked my dark site rainbow cat logo from Adobe Express to my latest light site with normal logo from Canva dot com.
As I was working on my site the whole of yesterday and well into this morning, I looked at my site and wondered why I am still NOT fully satisfied.
And since nobody ever visits my primary weblog of mostly rants, I figured that leaving the Front page or homepage set as a static page with the Posts page also set as a static page instead of the normal Latest posts display for blogs.
So I opened up six random sites that I visit to manage my online accounts, studied the appearance and layout of each site and then proceeded to model my primary weblog after these business/corporate web sites.
Lo and behold! I am gonna have to be satisfied with this one! I feel more relaxed even with the animated Snow falling (good until the fourth of January).
As I went through the changes, I narrowed my “ideal” website and modeled it after my favorite website by changing the dark theme to a light theme and cleaning up both header and footer. What I got was a cleaner looking web blog site.
The header has two rows. The top row feature my latest Logo which is just a transparent background or white and black text and bold fonts. The bottom row contains my navigation links.
I was surprised to find that the hover-over for my pages is still intact!
The footer is reduced to two one row to display Privacy Policy/Cookies and my Copyrighted credit.
The content in the middle contains an Intro pattern sporting a header, a paragraph, and a button linked to my Posts-page, which displays the most recent blogs or latest post.
The content also contains a randomizer plugin for my posts. I set one randomizer to display one King James bible verse; while I set the second randomizer to display 15 random randoms.
That’s all. End 1335 PST.
