Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Tweaked more stuff again

20230514-0054. I’ve been having fun tweaking my site again while listening AND singing along to some Christian songs on the Apple Music app. For the more familiar songs, I would enter a “Love”. Oh, I cried on one song: Shepherd Me, Oh God (Psalm 23). The lyrics were VERY meaningful especially with the soothing music, instruments, and vocals/chorus!

Anyways, I kinda/sorta finally “fixed” the div.wp-block-button for the a:active but I could NOT figure out how or why the background-image did NOT show up. So when I hold down as if to click-and-drag the button labeled “Random KJV Verse”, I could see the background-image would change temporarily to aqua-green color! The a:hover background-image is dark-purple color; while the a:link background-image is light-purple color!

So while it’s NOT perfect at least I finished my “random KJV verse generator”. There were 252 verses that had the old versions and so I deleted the extra lines one-by-one. Then I cleaned up another 6 verse that had two or double semi-colors next to each other.

I also fixed the pre-designed (Pattern) header from the “Centered Align Header” – I love balance and stuff centered and facing forward smack down the middle – to the “Header with Button”; so that I could make my “random KJV verse generator” work out! I was determined to finalized the look and feel of my blog, which I’ve set to my favorite “Pitch” style of mostly black color!

End of blogging.
