20221003-1207. Hallelujah! Praise the Almighty GOD in the Most High!
Anyways, over the weekend, see, I was acting like a poor person who wanted to budget stuff.
Over at WordPress.com I have a Pro account that’s good for one year. So I did NOT want that to do to waste and did NOT want to buy “more” domain names, since FlynnsPaws.Me is good for nine years “more”.
See? I wanted to combine my KJV books and verses project over at WordPress.com. The combined individual files are are thirty thousands! I found a handy-dandy .cvs file and used the Business Pro plug-in to push these files through the “front-end”, which is slower than through the SFTP server credentials.
Only once in my life did I ever uploaded a few .html files through an FTP under my FlynnsAngels.com site via Yahoo! Small Business. Then for whatever reason, I could NOT replicate that panel using the WordPress.org and/or WordPress.com platforms.
That’s besides the point! I’ve been on board with WordPress since 2006 and decided enough was enough last year 2021 and yeeted everything. But I’m back and that makes me happy!
Lo and behold! Y’all are punishing unto moi and have been laughing behind my back, knowing that EVERYTHING is being tracked and recorded and there is NO way stuff can be lost, stolen or forgotten with the JetPack Single-signing with WordPress.com for self-hosted site like this one via Gandi.net, which has a nice dashboard and seamless stuff. The webpages load up VERY quickly, I might add.
Yeah, so thanks to y’all and your patience and understanding: I have lost my way and found my way back. I have learned to keep things professional through my writing style sounds insane like a privileged Karen who expect the buttery care of upper management.
I’ll have to stick with Gandi.net and mused upon myself to pickup a coding book so I could design stuff. I’m more into “window dressing” with rainbow colors than the hard-core, meat and potatoes stuff of development/technical stuff.
So like I said, I’ll keep the front/home page feed with the latest post or reverse chronological order and NOT in excerpt mode like I’ve done in the past but in full view – front and rear.
I feel my blog is so shiny now that it’s being “self-hosted” with a bare minimum stats and security from plugins, like Jetpack and such. So I expect my stuff to be locked and loaded into https://web.archive.org, which is where I found 20 outta my missing 67 or so missing stuff!
Wow! I was panicked and pissed as this mornings fog opened up for the glorious sunshine of cool outdoor air! Imagine my stupidity for being so cheap.
I’ll stop dwelling on what I was thinking of when combing stuff between two platforms for now as my old site here has been restored. Sheesh.
Actually I took lots of screenshots of what NOT do to when sharing your FULL admin rights with others and how there seems to be failsafe switch from deleting by either admin when there are existing domains and/or professional emails.
I learned that “Leave Blog” means that any stuff created before removing the offending admin rights is retained and going forward access to admin stuff is stopped immediately.
I just did NOT see the proper online documentations for “Leave Blog” with his HUGE read banner and Warnings. I could go on but maybe a podcast might be better: I’ve never tried recording my speaking voice and barely put together the choral videos, which I could do here or on my other WordPress.com account.
Actually, I’m logged into a separate WordPress.com account for this self-hosted site.
So yeah, do NOT combine or share your admin rights.
Please keep each admin rights separate.
Y’all can have one admin right under one WordPress.com account and create multiple new blogs with its own domain names.
Or like with my WordPress.com Business Pro plan, I have one uber admin right over six .wordpress.com sites with its one matching domain like like:
thedailypauseblog.wordpress.com has it own TheDailyPause.Blog domain;
flynnsblogscom.wordpress.com has its own FlynnsBlogs.Com domain;
flynnsangelscom.wordpress.com has its own FlynnsAngels.Com domain; and
so on and so forth to be consistent or as I mentioned in my previous blogs, to mirror each other as mirror sites. See?
Once again, to keep it safe and to avoid Single-signing into one WordPress.com error messages, once y’all start one admin, just maintain the account(s) from its original initiation under that one admin.
Y’all can create lots of admins for one domain or one admin for multiple domain. My mind is free-flowing now. Y’all messed me up. This is how I deal with anxiety and stress: rapid speech and rapid typing!
That’s it! I staying here, updated my credit card file for the monthly charges and I’ll be happy. I’ve finished tweaking the other mirror sites, which nobody visits. So those domain names could expire.
An amateur like me really needs only one personal blog for a small monthly charge/fee/whatever. So that’s it: self-hosting until I receive unmanageable error messages, which was why I panicked and wanted to go back to the WordPress.com platform where its fully managed and updated by THEM.
That’s all. FlynnsPaws. Happy Blogging!
Hello Flynn, nice, and good luck!
