20221003-1624. For whatever reason, I made a goof! I misunderstood what was happening. Y’all did good unto moi! I have exported “All Contents” from FlynnsPaws.Me and then imported “All Contents” into my wpcomstaging container now known as FlynnsPaws.Blog!
Earlier, I misunderstood the power and glory of connecting with Jetpack Backup. And so I accidentally bought the Jetpack Backup thinking that I could possible stay with the self-hosted feature. Not so, Flynn, not so!
I can’t handle all the error messages! I’m already stressed out of maintaining the server, which I bought for the Jetpack Backup restore feature which is already part of WordPress.com, where my need for full-service of automatically managed plugins and whatnots are available!
Once again, the only reason for keeping my service host provider was because of the countless alias email addresses that I created, some of which I cannot change for my countless online accounts that are currently in use!
So I can’t risk missing one or two stragglers. A few days ago and ONE day prior to connecting my FlynnsPaws.me domain to WordPress.com and then back out again to Gandi.net (and then probably back to WordPress.com tomorrow after a possible Jetpack refund), I received several emails from the city and other Constant Contact senders using my domain email address aliases!
Plus, if I wanted to NOT renew my other defunct mirror sites with its own domain name, then at least I have FlynnsPaws.me for freaking nine years! That’s a VERY slong time, indeed.
Anyways, that was the purpose of reverting my domain back to the LiveDNS, to retrieve contents from the restored old site and then blog away happily under my primary WordPress.com account here. I’ll have to update the other site to this effect. If not, y’all will see the domain name change here AGAIN pretty soon/anon.
Oh, a few days ago, I’ve learned a new word, mapping. That’s all I needed and NOT to fully transfer out either way! I could have saved on transfer fees, by the way, had I known about this feature. There’s just way TOO much information, that my small mind is overloaded!
