Sometimes I browse the FoodPress.com website. There are pretty pictures and descriptions of the delicious food, along with recipes and ideas. Many times I imagine eating those food pictured. My mouth waters everytime. Being a pauper means foregoing the healthier foods and swelling up from malnourishment as a result. I may even go vegan out of pity for animals who suffered prior to becoming our foodstuff. I like pita bread and beans.
Here is more food for thought: My individual debt has been one of interest, mostly finance charges and other “hidden fees” in very small print. The funds were taken out of six credit cards as “cash advances”. Interestingly enough, the money went to feed the poor — out of pity, out of greed to be the would-be savior and out of charity to be generous and to act without thinking realistically. Ironically, the creditors continue to accure interest on food money and the debt has actually went legal.
To TPTB: How can you fix this problem, whereby one’s generosity has been unsettled due to lack of employment, justice and hope? How can you serve your interest without adding more interest to servers of “good faith”?
