Day 10: Something at which you’ve been a champion or the best.
I’m good at fooling myself, not that I’m delusional (grandiose or otherwise), but pretending I’m all that important and more! I’ve been reading articles online and books about self-empowerment. That’s a bunch of horse-sh^t from New Agers to “Little Grandmother”.
All I had to see were their “forked tongues” flicking out the same recurring words of “love and light” and any color related to purple. The followers of these gurus and the elders of these fakers have the right to know the truth — that not all is not “sugar and spice” and evil leaders to exist.
Like lost sheep, I too lack guidance and seek the assistance of a shepherd or teacher to a greener path. For I am easily vulnerable to those authorities of common sense and timeless wisdom and my own gullibility to nice words of flattery and praise.
As a fool who fools others with my words and is fooled into believing anything that catches my attention, I am my own worst enemy who cannot find peace within and without much luck. I’m afraid I’ll be adrift in an unforgiving ocean of information overload.
