“Talking In Your Sleep” sung by Crysta Gayle (as heard on Music Choice | Classic Country)
The only time that I was actually talking in my sleep was during my 104 degree fever. Maw and I were sleeping on the floor; while Paw and the boy were sleeping on the bed. I don’t recall talking in my sleep but when I woke up, I saw/hear Maw tell me to wake up. I barely recall her slapping me awake.
The last thing I remember was hugging her while panting over and over: “Maw, Maw, Maw!” Then I saw the two guys watching. It was embarrassing. Then I told her about my dream.
I was standing inside a darkened room. It was spacious enough that I could walk around from right and left, where I saw a spiral elevator going upward in a clockwise direction. At the very top of this elevator to heaven was a very bright/white light in the shape of a circle, of course.
I saw people were going up this spiral elevator. There was no other way out of this empty/smooth/echoic room of “grayness” as high as the ceiling. So I tried to step on the first section of the gray/metallic section and seemed to have gone a few feet up. But for whatever reason, I kept sliding back.
I attempted several time and then found myself awake. Usually I’m observing myself from outside and zooming into myself to experience the event unfolding. So when I’m “outside of myself”, I’m either going back/waking up or just visiting my dream world temporarily – like observing.
