I had to go online to find out how to bake chicken in the oven. Below is my modified version to support the uploaded images:
- Smash boneless and skinless, free-range, chicken thighs with meat tenderizer.
- Smash fresh garlic cloves.
- Brine for 15 minutes with any combination of the following:
- Food enhancer (such MSG or Monosodium glutamate)
- Salt – tablet salt, Kosher salt, sea salt, whatever
- Soy boi sauce – light or thin, dark, mushroom-flavored sauce, thick, oyster sauce, whatever
- Spray baking pan with cooking oil.
- Place wrong side of chicken face skyward into baking dish.
- Add the smashed garlic atop the chicken and sprinkle with sugar and black ground pepper.
- Preheat oven 375 degrees F.
- Cover with foil to seal in the juices. I tuck my foil inward so the steamed juices will recycle back downward into the baking pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and flip your chicken to cook another 15-20 minutes.
- Let your chicken rest, serve, and enjoy.
My favorite chicken pieces are the dark meats, which are the thighs and drumsticks.
