Last night, I launched the Flynns-Paws.com site for my long-awaited randomizer of King James Bible verses!
On/about May 18th, I was trying to upload .CSV files into the FlynnsPaws.me site but something was slowing the process.
I was using the Brave app for the FlynnsPaws.me site; while I’m using the Safari app for the Flynns-Paws.com site.
So outta frustration, I started to delete ALL these imported .CSV files (which is only possible by going PRO) but I ended up deleting ALL my static pages! That was on/about May 18th past midnight or so.
I wanted to restore these permanently deleted static pages but NOT the uploaded .CSV files that were in the thousands.
The .XML file that I downloaded firstly did NOT restore my site or my missing six Posts or some of my Media images, which are mostly Featured Images designed using Adobe Photoshop 2022 and cartoon avatars from other sites!
Secondly, I tried a restore point from 20220516-2345 using the Jetpack Backup feature that comes with the PRO package. But everything else beyond is gone!
Going to the May 17th, I see: No backup which was delayed!
Going to the May 18th, I see: Your first backup will be ready soon!
Then that’s when I really panicked and had to contact support.
I found the .CSV file containing each King James Bible verses online somewhere and took lots of screenshots where I got that ONE .CSV file for my reference if something goes missing!
There are approximately over 31,103 files or verses! So either the web browser or the sheer size/volume was slowing my experience.
I was excited to finally create a “Book” which has “Chapters” and “Verses”. This “book” would help encourage me to read my Bible on a daily basis.
Since I’m getting OLDER, this is good time for reflection of what I’ve been doing and what I could improve.
That was the good news. The bad news is that I assumed that WordPoopers were NOT doing their jobs!
Per usual, I assumed and incorrectly blamed others (typical of anxiety) from the Happiness Engineers to the imagined censorship cabals and palz.
My bad! For this I do apologize for panicking! I blame myself for misunderstanding that everything is OKAY!
Since I was paying for PRO stuff, I contacted support AND they could NOT figure out why my .XML file AND JetPack Backup glitched on/about May 17th.
But rest assured there is always a BACKUP somewhere in time and probably way back!
Lo and behold, an incoming thought came through my small mind that I should click and review my Twitter post entries on/about May 17th.
And sure enough I was able to download six (6) missing files from Archives.org! But this should only be done as a last resort per today’s email. I downloaded one file twice in error!
See? That’s why we should NOT rely on human imperfection to manually handle precious stuff OR on computer perfections to automatically handle other stuff.
That was May 19th. But if you are a business owner with more valuable PRECIOUS stuff, then that would be a problem.
For for mine, these are text contents of mostly rants via incoming thoughts. So that’s NOT a big deal.
See? That’s why misinformation and disinformation occur because the ones who panic do NOT take the time to UNDERSTAND stuff, like me.
So if y’all read my stuff as sounding crazy, far-fetched, or weird, that’s because I’m too lazy to learn or educate myself!
However, I do NOTICE how the “hive-mind” operates. I would send out a request and whosoever shows mercy would download incoming thoughts into my small mind as “inspiration”. Voila!
That’s how NOT to censor stuff. Allow each soul to discover stuff at various paces NO matter how slow or if it takes eternity and THEN intervene when the energy of discouragement increases the soul’s burden too much.
See? That’s how TPTB and palz work. Very advanced. Very spiritual.
In hindsight, while I do heavily criticize stuff that I do NOT know or understand, I now realize that my personal stuff or anything published online can and will be saved on servers wayback, somewhere, somehow.
With that said and going forward, I will be mindful of my communication language online. However, my personal interactive skill due to being mostly on front of the computer is poor or lacking. Wish me luck, though.
