Well I’ve retired to bed. What used to take me less than one minute to scan, rename, and archived has taken me ten minutes to complete!
The recent OS software updates knocked out my printer and scanner! So I had to use my backup laptop which uses a different OS. So to the smart one, I hope you didn’t throw away your old stuff as a backup. Just saying.
In any event, the backup laptop is freakishly slow! The drivers and utilities for the scanner took a freakishly long time to download! Then the installation of the apps took yet another freakishly long time too!
I made the mistake of combining two horizontal images together and as result I had a difficult time rotating and cropping!
Until the manufactures provide the software updates to my printer and scanner, this is the method I use to print and scan.
By using the cloud, I had to save the scanned stuff in one folder, move the group into another folder, combine the scanned items, and then edit, rename, and file away or archive my stuff on the faster main computer!
I noticed too the laptop computer overheated and the WiFi signals are weak and sometimes disconnect. I’m amazed why the fools don’t test out their stuff before going live!
I expect another software update to fix the mess, pronto!
