1. Gig.
The volunteer gig at my local church can continue without me. I don’t bother them. They don’t bother me.
Dad, however, got angry with me for skipping the gig and for not informing the freaks ahead of time for my disappearance. I don’t care.
For three weeks, I skipped the gig. First Sunday, I wasn’t in the mood. Second Sunday, I gave care to Mom. Third Sunday, I ‘wasn’t feeling well’ with slight congestion.
I’m learning how to ‘play games'(as per overhearing Clem asking Chuck his Dad if his Mom Ising ‘wasn’t feeling well’ one Sunday prior to handing the crazy a gift for her granddaughter’s parents.)
I told Mom that his mother might be ‘crazy’. Besides what that Benjamin D.C. told us long ago, Mom also ‘sensed’ that maybe she wasn’t a good mother because she prefers the company of sacrosancts.
During choir rehearsal last Thursday, the mother mumbled under her breathe that she missed me due my leadership ability in that section. I told her afterwards that Mom was in the hospital. But she quickly changed the conversation to the sick husband of the old woman sitting in front of us. Then she left. Then her son tried to offer well wishes.
In summary, I got ‘soom-poong’ because I sensed that I’m surrounded my crazies that play too much POLITICAL games. Mom said my attitude is bad when I don’t get my way. Yup.
2. Shopping.
Instead, I rationalized to go grocery shopping with my parents after breakfast on Sunday morning. I knew if I attended mass, I’d be to weary to shop later on. We finished at 1330 and ate lunch at 1430!
Mom wanted soft food and suggested Tapioca pudding cup Saturday night. The Rice pudding cups seemed more popular or empty than Tapioca cups from DeCA. She would eat unsweetened apple sauce with her bedtime meds and also ate one Tapioca pudding cup prior to bedtime. We noticed that her blood sugar level is LOWER when she eats stuff prior to bedtime!
3. Religion.
I don’t believe in god or prayers anymore. I believe that I’ve made peace with god already and I’m ready to cross that God-dammed rainbow bridge. But in the meantime, I suppose that I could continue to blog and share my experiences about weird stuff. I really don’t like attending church masses because the dogma didn’t resonate with reality. Those crackers don’t seem to work for saving souls.
4. Politics again.
During Mom’s stay at the hospital, Dan the whitish nurse guy interacted with Mom and I moreover than allowed. At that time she was already ranting and wanted to go home. She said aloud that she didn’t like Democrats, that Liberals are cry babies, and that she voted for Trump.
The whitish nurse guy shared something about a patient who escaped his watch and went home. Dan was rebuked by his Filipina superior for saying Hispanic. He said he is supposed to use Caucasian if white, Asian, African-American if black, etc.
He said his girlfriend is Chinese and in college and that she was told that she can’t be politically correct about diversity in her papers. Dan told his girlfriend that she can say whatever she wants.
5. Guessing game.
Dan took Mom’s blood sugar level twice. I guessed 195 the first time for 199 incorrectly. But two hours later, it read 195! He joked that I was from the future. I joked earlier at first contact that I could guess his age correctly but was to distracted.
6. Software upgrade.
Dan the whitish nurse guy said that the blood glucose meter at the hospital was accurate for about ten years until they changed the software.
With that said, and as per yesterday’s mainstream ad nauseum news media, a blondish woman guest said to the talking-headed hosts that it is important to upgrade the software applications of these electronic medical devices. There was talk about defibrillators or heart monitors wonking out incorrectly.
Hmm. Yeah. So Trump may have to encourage federal regulations of these medical and hospital devices to ensure HIPAA of the patients.
