Well, Dad and I came home around 1800. Dad finished reading a little book about table etiquette while he patiently waited for the completion of my dental appointment of 1630. We left home prior to 1600, arrived around 15 minutes early, was taken to room number four around 1625, but was slightly delayed due to a little boy. We waited a little bit prior to checking-in around 1615 due to a burly Mexican guy disputing something at window number one where a burly ‘Maria’ sat and worked.
I thought the dental hygienist would be cleaning the patient, like my other dentist. But for whatever reason, the clinic’s dentist cleaned my teeth! A helper asked that I demonstrate how I brushed my teeth – in circular motion. And she then demonstrated how to floss on my lower teeth.
The dentist then started out with conversation and conversed throughout the procedure. She cleaned my teeth with an ultra-sonic water tool, followed by the regular metal tool. Both hurted but I didn’t flinch due to regularly using my Sensodyne toothpaste. She said raise your left hand and don’t be shy if there is pain from the ultra-sonic cleaner.
I only had a little tartar from the bottom left, inside molar areas. She scraped all along the gun line to ensure that no tartar existed near the root. She discussed the various cleaning tools for me to take home – a rubber-tipped gum simulator, a proxabrush handle with a toothbrush and rebills and another for traveling, and ultrasoft compact toothbrush, toothpaste, and flow).
She lifted out more debris with the simulator and proxabrush, and cemented shard of tartar, which she presented to me for feeling and looking. It was like a hard seed only less than a millimeter. She said the soft plague (which can be removed from regular brushing and flossing) builds up to form that crystallized tartar. So that gooey filmy whitish stuff is the plaque being turned into tartar from the enzymes of saliva and trapped foodstuff.
The staff were already leaving around 1730 or so. Earlier one male staff member left early thirty minutes. At 1750, we managed to get the paperwork to Maria, who will call tomorrow morning or afternoon for an appointment for a filling. She left around 1755.
I hurried quickly to the bathroom for rinse my mouth with my bottle of hydrogen peroxide and used the toilet, too. Dad was waiting. I emerged from the unlocked bathroom near the obgyn and saw Dad, the security guy, and a janitor who was hauling the hefty trash bag.
In defense of the the AHA, or ObamaCare, and Medi-Cal, this afternoon’s service is rated as excellent. I got a power cleaning, power scraping, power suction, and THOROUGH professional attentiveness and anal-retentive concern from the dentist, who is Asian – part, Viet, Chin, and Flip. I’ve learned more from her than from my private dentist. I’ve been treated VERY WELL, too.
I can’t complain. I feel my gums are alive. It feels like my teeth are better aligned. My mouth feels alive! I’m grateful and thankful. I see now that compassion overrules greed. I see that while these socialized benefits and entitlements are good on a temporary basis, public service helps those who don’t know much or have the means for paid services.
I see that AHA can be improved. While showering out today’s healthcare appointments, I’m wondering if healthcare can operate like Social Security – mandatory pay deductions and/or the hybrid of ‘investing’ into the general funded pools to further ‘absorb’ and help those poor, vets, and, yes, ‘evacuees’.
In addition to my showered thoughts, I can see the batches of ‘refugees’ appears to be highly education and useful to society. (I can see that multi-multiculturalism is supposed to help reduce the corruption and ‘thug’ mentality among isolated, closed-knitted networks.) So I’m NOT entirely against in helping those who are knowledgeable and capable of ‘contributing’ back into society and help themselves and families, too.
So yeah, I read somewhere building walls are supposed to be ‘permeable’ enough to allow wildlife, including desperate humanz, to travel with certain restrictios. But if y’all wanna to reduce dependency on ANY controlling institution, y’all need to remove the mechanism on free stash and provide incentives for jobs, at least.
En route homebound from noontime mass today, Michael Savage mentioned that merit allows for humanz to climb the ladder of success. That’s why I don’t mind to temporarily support the idea of inviting those who came here LEGALLY. Again, the idea is for them to help themselves and their homelands, should they wish to return and share their knowledge and work to improve their homelands.
