“RPT: MOST OBAMACARE ENROLLEES ALREADY HAD HEALTH PLANS” (America’s News HQ/FoxNews)

On 1/13/13 around 2 PM and for 13 minutes, including a wait time on hold for 5 minutes, I returned the voicemail call to Covered California.

The rep was a black girl. She said:

“You have to choose a plan.”

But, in my mind, I already had “MediCal” and thought that was all the health coverage I needed.

I asked her what if I can’t afford any of the four plans offered by the County of Santa Clara.

But she repeated “You have to choose a plan.” I was confused.

She said she will mail a package, which will arrive in 7-10 days because I haven’t received a package, which was mailed out on 12/31/13.

I’ll report back/share my personal experiences anon. I guess this is my “incarnated assignment” – to discover areas that need improvement.
