Per my smartphone notes at 0841 AM today:
Three days ago around 1422 PM, we got a phone call from that “sewing machine” place near OSH, just past Eastridge Mall. Our Tristar vacuum cleaner was ready to be picked-up.
I don’t like “Dave” the Italian. He charged us the $89/hour labor, just to tell us that the electrical cord leading from the power-head brush to the main vacuum unit was loose.
He could have NOT charged us and be neighborly. But because he admitted to us that he was kinda/sorta prejudice against his fugly, dark-skinned Filipino daughter-in-law.
Trust the three of us: She looks bitchy-mean. I don’t know what John sees in her. These sort of guys, just like the Boss and many others, are stupid for hooking up the most unimaginable kinds.
Anyway, TPTB and pals might wish to aggressively cap down on these small businesses who really don’t have to charge their customers all that much for some minor oversight. It’s too damn dishonest.
Perhaps, it was Dave’s way of telling us he doesn’t like to see our kinds around the place. But because he needs customers, he couldn’t be rude or turn us away but to hit us with unnecessary bills.
With that sort of money wasted, Paw could have gotten us new god-damned vacuüm. Maw insisted that Paw will NOT repair that old vacuüm cleaner, which was too heavy and loud.
