Well, I’ve done more shredding of papers after scanning and archiving. Now I’ve got two bags of paperback books to donate to the main library in downtown San Jose, CA or elsewhere. Most of the books are FICTIONAL of self-help, humor and other nonsense. The hard cover books are over rated. I’m better off reading a San Jose Mercury News.
And for $1.00 I could carry that paper anywhere, especially during my toilet sessions! Plus, the leftover newspaper can be used as lining to catch poop made by parakeets. And that’s what Paw and I did today: To buy a final Sunday edition from an old, FAT, black man garbed in pink and purple-colored, knitted clothing and hat! His “lady” was also garbed in BRIGHT pink and purple attire. I had my dark-blue, acrylic-knitted headband by Maw. So the three of us “matched” as far as clothing material and style.
The other items that were hurriedly thrown into the RECYCLING bin were old religious reading materials, chaplets, booklets, and other nonsense that accumulated inside Paw’s bedside table, which had some old paperwork:- I offered to scan, archive and shred these blurred pages; so I could clean up the house further by the end of this week on Saturday, the last day of Lent. My goal is to relieve myself of material junk. Unfortunately, I still cannot let go of lots of stuff — CD’s, electronics, paperback books, displays, etc.
*Also, I forgot to add that I’ve threw away extra CPAP equipment that have been used (and/or new due to stiffer and more painful materials). The USPS boxes have been discarded while the packing slips have been shredded.
