I went to bed late last night at 1:30am and am still feel groggy from lack of sleep. After scanning and archiving over 500 pages last night, I’m still NOT done with my Lenten Season project! And today is the last day of my personal push for completion.
I don’t feel like “verifying” the count of each scanned item. The thick file is stacked up on my desk! It’s a nightmare to imagine the waste of time AND paper (formerly known as trees), just for printed material. That’s why I prefer electronically recorded images: The digital version reduces the “paper monster”.
During my project, I creatEd five new folders labeled Various: news, discoveries, taxes, accounting and legal. I may merge the informational with the other five new folders but this folder contains coupons, discounts, advertisement, plane tickets, placement cards, etc.
And those were scanned in COLOR! That’s right! I even scan thicker papers in color! NeatWork Quick Scanner really works! Just make sure the paper is thin enough to feed through the rollers. The thinner paper, like carbon copies, can jam up because the sticky rollers are truly “quick”.
The last “major” paper works are the hard copies of the Yahoo! Messenger. But since TPTB don’t want to touch it, I’m left to scan these colored text and archive it with the rest. I plan to just dump all these crap without shredding. Perhaps, I could rubberband the stack in case someone gets curious. As usual, Thursday is Paw’s “Trash Can Night” for Friday’s “Pick-Up”.
