“They might think you are shredding government documents.” Maw had expressed for the past few weeks since I started my Lenten Season project, which is really spring cleaning. My goal is to get rid of EVERYTHING useless in the house. This means to leave the furnishings. The books, stuffed animal toys and small trinkets have got to go where they will be loved. When the twosome passes on, I could rent out the rooms for some income and keep from feeling creeped out and alone at home.
So instead of finishing one account a day, I scanned and archived the documents of one SETTLED credit card account. Those had been shredded at night to free up this morning, thinking we’d wake up early and drive Maw to her bloodwork so she could eat breakfast in time for her medications. Those statements will be done tonight. Hopefully, I could finish three folders of old cell/phone bills, which are now available online. The rest are printed, informational material of mostly crap and may be thrown away.
