Over the fine weekend of mostly rain, I’ve scanned three more closed accounts (and various documents, such as agreements, policies, letters and notices)— one major checking account of America and one major credit card company with three separate numbers with chasing arms. Some statements were already downloaded online.
Archiving and shredding have been done around 8:00pm last night and I didn’t dare start another batch because I needed to catch up on my sleep.
While trying to further separate the shredded papers, I noticed VERY fine dust floating as smoke near the top of the paper shredder. I thought my ShredMaster has overheated and thus smoked, which I didn’t smell.
Right there, I knew I’d be sick because the smell of dusty old paper entered my nostrils, which I blew out later on to discover to be blue in color due to one active file have lots of blue ink on old statements.
As of this morning, I feel congested in a run-down way — not infected but by fine particulates caught in mucoid linings that are currently being removed SLOWLY. I tried gargling and blowing my nose but to no avail.
