En route to this morning’s mass, I imagined the price of security outweighs the price of freedom. For without security, there can be no freedom to do anything. Outside of security is chaos and the likes of freedom-loving barbarians who are outlaws.
For example, my “temp job from hell” is secure until the ax comes down our neck. It’s easy and slow. I’m less stressed and more relaxed. Plus, I can actually TAKE my breaks and enjoy going outdoors. And that is the freedom — to do honest work and to complete the tasks at the end of the day (as per the videos that I view last Friday evening on the Company’s Mission Values). I’ll review that again later on today and type out the remaining scripts of the host, a black guy with cherub-like white hair
“It’s better to work than to stay at home.” said the boy during yesterday’s lunch at our home.
With that said and although I’m paid low and sit near the slamming back, I gain a better perpective in life. Again, we are all free beings. But without the security to exercise freedom (through control mechanisms to keep the peace for the more innocent and dolice dezinens of this planet via various rules, regulations, policies, etc., we are all but animals hunting down the next prey for survival and at all cost.
