Well, Inday had sat with the three of us during yesterday evening’s mass. That is unlike her and that could only mean she lost her driver’s license or has failed the DMV tests many times! She was not consistent in the frequency of taking the test, which Maw took twice and passed, missing only three.
So we drove her home. But the twosome knows she is up to something. And sure enough at around noontime or so today, she had “accidentally” called us three times. She left two voicemail messages for someone by the name of Manang Mel, which almost sounded like the words “an angel”. But we were calmly shopping at two malls.
One was exchanging a pair of 1/4 tcw earrings for 1/2 – 10K earrings. Maw lost one pair on 9/29/2010, eighteen days after Paw bought it for her 70th birthday present. The new pairs are, of course bigger and shinier, too. It was 50% off, too! Next time we will go to Asian jewelers. They have more yellow gold, thicker posts and bigger rocks.
The other mall was shopping for $100 worth of clothes, mostly mine. Thanks Paw! Then we went to eat Halo-Halo. It was freezing cold and so was the balmy winds today. Lots of puffy clouds and crispy blue skies were around after a brief morning of fog and waking up late, too.
