What does being unemployed feel like? Last night, I was chatting with my cousin from Philippines and here are two of my responses:
`[Yahoo! ID deleted] (1/26/2010 10:34:49 PM): it’s like staying in a nursing home, being old and wanting for death!`
`[Yahoo! ID deleted](1/26/2010 10:35:04 PM): working keeps person busy.`
It’s better to work even part-time or have a some business on the side line and at home, too. Without the incentive to feel worthy or appreciative of one’s ability to do something for one’s life, there is stagnation. And the mind rots from lack of motivation and enthusiasm to life and living.
The spirit is willing but eventually the body deteriorates from lack of employment, sitting all day in front of the television and eating fatty and unhealthy food. The body is meant to work moderately and not too hard or else the stress level factors in a death sooner from medical complications and a life of no longer that to longevity.
