While I would love very much to stay at home, I’m not getting anywhere. I need money to buy stuff from companies, which needs our consumer business. I need health care insurance in order to have a check up for maintaining possible high-blood pressure, hypertension and high cholesterol as part of old age. I may need to have my glaucoma and hearing checked-up too.
I would like to work, be on the payroll, with a company that matches my worldview. But I do not see myself doing desk job. I’ve been mistaken as being a sales or retail clerk while shopping in various department stores. Maybe I should go into sale but my personality is too quite and shy. My hearing is bad and the fact that I get easily distracted (probably from inheriting a mild case of ADD).
But I’m not having much luck looking for work. I keep applying online via the temporary agencies, via Yahoo! HotJobs and via CalJobs (www.caljobs.ca.gov). I actually got a response from the one via CalJobs and have responded to the lady from my email address, providing the updated resume, cover letter and three references. It’s local and up in Milpitas, CA.
