I’d like to share two Persian cat items in my possession.
The first photo shows a Persian Cat Jewelry purchased long ago from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. You can listen to the sound of the pendant bell by clicking here.

Brat noticed how pretty this piece of jewelry and he had purchased a replica of this Persian Cat Sculpture for my birthday long ago. It measures nine inches in height and about four inches across (9″ by 4″). Below is a photo of this piece of art:

Boston sculptor Richard H. Recchia (1888–1983) created this sleek and stylized aristocratic feline in 1931. Recognized as one of the first local artists to produce abstract sculpture, Recchia created a veritable sensation when Persian Cat was first exhibited, but its subtlety and characterization eventually won critics over. Hand-cast in resin with a hand-painted patina. 7″w x 12″h. Handcrafted in China.
