After viewing a topic on ‘slideshows’ (via the WordPress.com forums and help sections), I signed up at slideshare.net a couple of hours ago in hopes of ‘creating’ a nifty ‘web-book’. My purpose was to ‘make’ people view my pages in a particular order.
I then went to Microsoft Office PowerPoint program and created forty-seven pages for presentation. This took me less than an hour because all I did was copied each of my WordPress.COM pages and pasted those to each new slides. Then I’ve uploaded this file of 723KB to the website. This took only about ten minutes before it was ready for viewing.
Without the very useful code, I would not have been able to consolidate around sixty-nine pages to a mere twenty-seven pages in five ‘major’ sections: front stuff, front matter, body matter, back matter and back stuff. The ‘minor’ pages are linked elsewhere (like within certain pages or even the bottom-bar, which noone seems to notice.
Since the traffic to my weblog site as slowed down quite a bit, I’ve decided to keep busy with my weblog site. My thoughts just came up with a rational explanation for the lack of interest in my blogs — the brats or rather the students are back in school. Then I again I am assuming it’s the layout of the ‘Quentin’ theme and its red-brown color that doesn’t seem to attract a wide enough audience.
I guess people are too busy with their lives and family. And the weather has been better recently with no chemtrails but lots of clear blue skies, sometimes cool breezes amidst the very hot weather we’ve been having for the past week. It’s hot when we start using the air conditioner, which is essential for keeping the elderly cool.
So yeah, I guess this presentation via Slideshare.net could be view with an embedded JavaScript, which unfortunately does not work on WordPress.com due to security reasons. I tried pasting the ‘Code for [my] Site, which could be used anywhere JavaScript is accepted’ through one of our ‘text widgets’ for the ‘sidebar’. But all I saw were useless links.
So here goes. If I seen a screen, it works. If I see nothing else than weblinks, then the JavaScript does not work on this ‘post’ entry.
