Sunday has been mostly the decoration of Christmas indoors; while Saturday has been mostly the installation of outdoors lights. Friday was clear blue skies with little brown horizon. Saturday was chemsoup of haarp clouds and a couple of noticeable chemtrails being laid directly overhead. Sunday was cold like today, Monday.
First, on Saturday, ‘Shiva-Paw’ and I did most of the decoration for outdoor Christmas lighting the WHOLE day; while ‘Kali-Maw’ did the chicken tinola soup with choate. ‘Shiva-Paw’ and I worked wonderfully well together since both of us are by nature quiet. Sadly, I snapped at ‘Kali-Maw’ again for her trying to ‘help’, which is mostly nagging to the both of us.
After her cooking both lunch and dinner and ironing my new cotton clothes for my temporary job, she did come outdoors to help install our newest addition of lighted sculptures to the three reindeer family — an animated angel with wings that flap slowly forward and back. We bought the reindeers at NEX II last year and the angel at Home Depot prior to Thanksgiving (knowing full well the stock will disappear for Christmas).
Second, on Sunday this time ‘Kali-Maw’ and I did most of the indoor decoration of one-6 foot fake tree with lights pre-installed, one-4 foot fake tree with no lights and the arrangement of ‘Kali-Maw’s collection of Cobblestone figurines of houses for her centralized theme in front of the unused brick chimney.
‘Shiva-Paw’ did help: to dust off the trees and tables and to place the tables for the Cobblestone items and for the hand made and painted Nativity display containing the Fontanini nativity figurines and nothing more. I suppose ‘Shiva-Paw’ did more than enough with the staple gun from Saturday’s project of outdoor lightings.
In my mind, I wanted to break tradition because of what I felt was an over commercialization of a holiday season meant for mostly ‘Christians. I realize that my bad attitude during the two days of painstaking ‘togetherness’ is simply that: the enjoyment of whatever is left of each other’s company and learning to work together cooperatively in the spirit of giving ourselves — time and energy — despite these white knuckling expressions of love.
