I just finished watching a former co-worker’s slide show of his two-week vacation to Germany and Czechoslovakia on my newly ‘inherited’ DSL connection from Brat. These two places seem like good destinations for my early retirement endeavors. The only thing lacking is a good travel buddy.
So I emailed back this former co-worker and am currently creating this blog for today’s entry. The clear blue skies returned to make my day much brighter for me. And the day has been pretty much normal. My bio-units and I had breakfast and left the house around 11:00AM to go shop at the Navy Exchange.
My stamina to shop was limited and I soon found myself being angry at the checkout because Maw, in her usual way, made another big deal on how I’d like to do things my way. Although I feel that I am always right no matter what and although my bad mouthing does reflect my lack of patience, I still have to practice really hard on what I preach about love and light.
I am only human and perfect to a certain point. That explains why I enjoy eating food stuff that would make others avoid due to religious beliefs and otherwise healthy lifestyles. I drove to an Asian buffet in South San Jose at Paw’s request. I was amazed he remembered that address and cross street of the main road to the place.
Paw always wanted to go visit there after we discovered a coupon or an advertisement long ago. So I drove from the military base and headed southward along Highway 101 at a leisurely pace because of the pleasant weather. There is no need to be in a hurry when there are no trail clouds above to block the sunlight.
We ate as many plates as the three of us could possible have in one visit. Paw and I always had the heartiest appetites and downed three helpings. I skipped dessert because my tummy had no more room to spare. The water from the large plastic glass filled me up. Maw ate too much for her medical conditions.
Later on, I found out why she wanted the windows rolled down. She didn’t feel well after eating more that she needed and ended up getting rid of the food stuff in the reverse direction. She had these same nauseating experiences at other buffet places. I assume the food she today ate wasn’t cooked well enough.
The plates were about $16.00 each and for whatever reason my full credit card number appeared printed on the check. I circled it and put question marks to flag the establishment that they should not do that for security reasons. We will not go back there again because it is too far out from our house.
We went home and I went to sleep at 04:00PM only to be awakened by Paw at 07:00PM because Maw wanted to cheer up Brat at his new house. I was still groggy from digesting lunch earlier and as usual grumbled under my breath as I hurried to put my clothes on and get ready to visit the couple.
Maw instructed Paw to bring three to four kinds of cleaning devices for the couple. These were to be used in cleaning Brat’s new lawn mower and sweeping the wooden floors downstairs. I decided to bring Brat’s paper shredder from upstairs after a failed attempt to confirm that I am ‘dumping’ his property at his place.
We arrived there and was greeted by both who were in the middle of eating dinner. I saw Brat was being feed stuffed sausages with tomatoes and a bowl of soup with meat and noodles. Both seemed too thin to my standards of thickness although Brat claims he feels fatter now that he is older.
Twit surprised me more recently as she has been offering her food of cakes and tea to us – her elders. I believe she will take care of Brat in the years to come and I knew they would be successfully happy together. I do recall telling Brat to give Twit a chance when he was initially unsure of her about two of the five years he had known her from work.
We left Maw to talk with the couple while Paw and I went back home to get the box of new Cuisinart 10-piece cooking set. We removed the old simulated wooden cabinet from the garage; dusted the old piece of furniture with the walis; hammered more nails into the back cardboard panel from falling out in the long run; and had a difficult time figuring out how to stuff this into a small sedan.
I considered stuffing this cabinet into the Benz or the Mustang but decided the Mazda was the only option. We loaded the piece into the trunk but with no success. I had to think fast because the sun was already setting and found my answer by loading into the back seat. The windows in the back had to be opened to avoid any chance of breakage.
The new ‘shoe rack’ has been placed into the garage as the three of us happily watched the couple placed their shoes efficiently. The two boxes that once stored their zapatos, or shoes, no longer clutter up the garage but are now neatly organized into a corner inside the cabinet.
We enjoyed our second helping of tea and left in a few minutes afterward at 09:00PM. Our purpose of tonight’s visit was to allow some comfort and company to the lonely Brat Twit reported yesterday to Maw that Brat is lonely and is home sick. Brat seemed happier of our presence but did not want us to leave again.
The three of us ate our late dinner and I found out that Maw explained why Twit was not allowed to go inside the house. In the past, we treated the girlfriends as nice as possible but for whatever reasons the relationships with Brat did not work out. Maw got mad at Brat for not allowing her to not use the restroom one time and that cleared up the misunderstanding in the past.
Also, to have the significant other visit the bio-unit’s house is usually reserved for when the couple is engage and truly meant for each other. Maw did ask why Twit is not engaged. And Twit looked at Brat. The answer was simple: We did not know Twit’s ring size. So that spoiled the fun of surprising her with a nice shiny diamond ring.
Today was delightful with the sun shining brightly above and where one sylph was hovering near the circular buildings off of Highway 101 in Santa Clara, CA. I shopped for my essential products, got tired and angry, ate too much lunch and fell asleep, visited Brat brought cleaning, cooking, and storing basics and enjoyed the whole day with people I love.
