To visit animals in zoos allows ordinary people the opportunity to learn of many different kinds of consumers living on this plant. This promotes the interaction between species that we would not otherwise have a chance to meet in the wild.
Zoos are fine for our viewing pleasures and educational purposes yet confining to those who live behind enclosures that mimic their natural habitats. Although attempts are made to ensure the well being and comfort of our animal friends, I wonder if we are aware of any form of zoo larger than us.
A white Beemer was in front of me for about half my traveling distance from home to work before it exited off of De La Cruz Blvd. at around 09:30AM. I interpreted its license plate and thought to myself that life is but a comedy in spite of all the bombardment of negativity from the mainstream media. I am sure that there are countless deeds of goodness that don’t make headlines.
I imagined myself being much like an animal being exhibited for other’s amusment. I have much to offer from my simple and boring life as a novice writer. There is nothing to hide and fear is but a small factor to promote lack of trust among each other. All I could do is be myself and do the best with whatever I’ve learned from others.
Once again, this morning’s event serves as a reminder to me of how blessed I am to be safe and sound from any harm and danger. I believe that we create in our minds some sort of protection for our sense of self and three dimensional properties and from unknown enemies and threats to our security.
