Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

My ideal home is in a “futuristic setting”. Here are the amenities that I’d like to have built into this home:

ROOMS

  • Den room downstairs for computer/work/gamers.
  • Exercise room adjacent to den room.
  • Sun-room desired for indoor gardening and/or swimming, too!
  • Library room for collections/archives, if any.
  • Living room with working fireplace. Optional gas/propane powered fireplace.
  • Family room for playing and entertaining. Karaoke optional.
  • Sitting room for reading and writing/blogging.
  • One utility room combined for sewing, laundering (not money he-he) and ironing.
  • Mud room for incoming dirty shoes.
  • Dining room for formality.
  • Breakfast room/nook for quick bites.
  • Bar room for winos and smokers.
  • Extra rooms downstairs for invited visitors and temporary vagrants. Video/audio surveillance installed here for protection of home owner.
  • One linen room to store fabric/materials.
  • One vanity room for hair/make-up. Must include full-length mirror for front/back/sides!
  • One kitchen has cabinets installed no higher than short person for easy reach of gadgetry.

BUILDING

  • No electricity or electrical wiring. Free energy powered somewhere from within walls for appliances.
  • Movement sensors will turn on lighting in designated areas. Adjustable lighting is pre-programmed.
  • House is NOT on land/sea but hovering/levitating above ground. Therefore, no property taxes applicable. Garden can be done underneath home, if preferred.
  • No closet doors. Just a wave of the hand and the opaqueness will reveal a well-organized wardrobe.
  • Home has running water with built-in distillation system.
  • No attic. No basement.
  • One story dwelling for easy repair.
  • No hot tubs. Yuck to fluid cooties!
  • Built-in fireproof safe for valuables and guns/ammos.
  • Lightweight/recyclable construction material ideally suited for particularities of clime.
  • No solar panels on roof.
  • Outdoor grilling/cooking system.
  • One toilet downstairs and one out back for Fido.Kitchen has cabinets installed no higher than short person for easy reach of gadgetry.
  • One refrigerator. One freezer. No ice box.
  • No dishwasher. One sink for washing. One sink for utilities.
  • Garage is for three cars. Expansive enough for bicycles and other racks.
