Earlier this year, I bought a new cellphone — an Epic 4G (Samsung Galaxy S). This was after ten slong years of waiting for a product that functions “well” enough as a cellphone and internet. It works much better than a personal computer than expected when it comes to checking my personal email accounts and updates in my Twitter and WordPress account.
But sometimes I feel it works too slow for me, especially when turning on the unit — I have to waiting almost one minute. There are times when a “force closes” happen and that can be annoying. Some areas in the Bay Area are too remote that my 4G service is none existent. And when I wanted to post a blog entry, I cannot because the reception is very poor.
Overall, I am thinking of buying a reader for the purpose of “reading” online article and electronic books and of viewing photos with the elderly couple who will soon forget all that has ever happened in the past. So while I can appreciate this technological advance, my cellphone is great to keep in touch with people who care in the meantime.
