During this morning’s mass, my mind wandered again. It’s the price for being a creative writer. And you know how bloggers, too, can mix in TRUTH with other nonsense! Anyway, I was thinking how stupid people can be. They think going to vacation makes them “wealthy” enough to afford the luxury of not staying home. I think they are delusional and snotty, too.
Personally, I don’t like traveling. I love my bed, pillows, blankets, food and toilet. I cannot find a good deal. And the rooms smell like SMOKE! A couple of times my family and I went abroad. Twice, our relatives died and probably for our sake and safe arrival. We are not going back as a result of the excitement. It could just out luck.
Anyway, going on vacation brought on an imagery of:
Window dressers arrange displays of goods in shop windows or within a shop itself. They may work for design companies contracted to work for clients or for department stores, independent retailers, airport or hotel shops.
After reading online versions of illusion, different places of discovery are really just larger versions of windown dressing. One place could have nice palm trees and surfers. Another place could have snow and snowboarders. While elsewhere there is a location sporting the new build malls and shoppers. And inside the windows are well-dressed and mindless mannequins, which could be travellers, like us.
Wherever we go, we are stuck in our bodies. Our eyes see different nouns and pronouns. Our ears hear different audio effects and nature. Our tastebud savor cultural cuisines; while our noses catches a whiff of skunk, too. Our skins can feel temperatures and pressures, much like our ears depressuring in the airplane. And our bodies and minds can experience all sorts of sensation.
Vacationing is nothing more than going from point A, which is here and now, to point B, which is somewhere over or out there. Turning on the television, computer, radio or other electronic devices is much like waking up everyday, only whatever is “on” is what we get and without spending much money and effort, too.
So whenever you think of traveling, learn to enjoy being home for once and enjoy doing some housework.
