There is the need to “share”. But others misconstrue “sharing” as “showing off”. When “sharing” provides useful information to make others feel good and motivated, that’s a fine example. The opposite of “sharing” by making others jealous is therefore “showing off ” and can be destructive.
The impulse to create can arise from a mere thought into some penned words or other medium of recording such as audio and video. The ultimate goal is “sharing” the inward expression of self to the outward presentation for other selves to appreciate and replicate.
It is human nature to memorialize self for others to remember, whether by publication on a blog, for example, or by keeping secret notebooks for later discovery.

Did you ever stop to think about what it is that makes you want to write, whether on a blog or for a magazine or in secret notebooks you hide in your nightstand?
