Birthday parties make me feel like I’m still a kid. There are noisy people trying to have fun, food for filling tummies with delights, cake decorated with colorful sprinkles, balloons with well wishes of all shapes and sizes, favors and other goodies. There would singing, dancing and more play, too.
Going to work make me feel like an adult. There can be fun with overworked people during happy hours, discussions of matters to improve the slow, outmoded process and any environmental “pollutions” and basically messing up the status quo enough for the employer to make the auditors scream for mercy.
